In this highly visible role you will be accountable for the management and development of short and long term infrastructure strategies for our 3 Data Centers. This will include aligning these strategies with Horizonâs overall enterprise strategy and translating them into tactical plans to assure optimal utilization. Responsibilities will include:⢠Managing the development and delivery of cost-effective technical solutions/operations⢠Developing/managing a team of 40-60 professionals providing highly reliable service on a 24 x 7 basis⢠Supporting, maintaining and administering all of Horizonâs SQL & Lotus Notes 8.0 infrastructure systems⢠Managing the overall Disaster Recovery & High Availability plans to meet business, legal and regulatory requirements⢠Providing guidance and support to the e-business service desk⢠Performing risk analysis and developing risk mitigation plans ⢠Establishing strategic vendor relationships that affect the delivery of IT services⢠Developing metrics associated with performance, availability, reliability and recovery⢠Managing outsourcing agreementsQualified candidates will have a Bachelorâs Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, along with 10+ years IT management experience, preferably in Infrastructure Management. Proven knowledge of the following a must: Information Technology, Infrastructure Virtualization, Data Center Change & Desktop Management, EDI Files, Wintel, Cluster Intel Servers, IBM, P5 & P6, Brocade, SAN Storage, Risk/Gap Analysis and Internal/External Audit Processes. Exceptional analytical skills and strong oral and written communication skills will also be expected, as will the ability to effectively lead a team.
