Real Estate Company is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal in its Naperville office. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and self-starter and will have substantial experience as a real estate legal assistant. Candidate must be confident working independently or within a team structure and must be prepared to adapt their skills, focus and priorities in a fast-paced environment. If you are interested in this position please send a copy of your resume to claire.marshall@roberthalflegal.com Experience coordinating the closing of Real Estate Transactions; preparing real estate closing statements & documents, working with legal staff, title companies, lenders, etc. to complete closings in an accurate and timely fashion; Experience attending legal proceedings to confirm Real Estate Transactions, such as Confirmation Hearings, recording documents, etc. on the firm’s behalf; Ability to research liens, Lis Pendens Notices, and advise on priority; Preparation of deeds, mortgage documents, resolutions, affidavits, and other legal documents; 5+ years experience in Real Estate and/or Corporate Law preferred; Experience/coordination of Real Estate Contracts from listing agreements to final amended contracts; Highly organized with strong follow through skills and the ability to manage multiple projects; Must be extremely proficient in all areas of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); Superior written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization; Maintain electronic & hard-copy document management systems; Must maintain; Prepare internal & external correspondence, memos and other documents; Candidates must be flexible & possess a positive, “can do” attitude, with the ability to take on additional projects as required; Bachelor Degree required Located in major markets throughout North America, Robert Half Legal is the premier provider of legal professionals on a full-time, project and temporary basis to law firms and corporate legal departments.
