Primary Responsibilities :
Intuit Inc. This position at Intuit manages 500+ engineers across the Small Business Division (SBD) and interacts closely with all members of Intuit’s Executive Leadership teams. SBD comprises of the Quicken and Quickbooks product line. This individual will be the key driver Engineering strategies. He/She will refine and execute the overall platforms strategy. In large part, success in this position will be dependent on several key factors:

-Effective collaboration across a broad and complex organization to ensure that the SBD’s Engineering and related business units are functioning optimally in their relationships.

-Spreading content rich leadership throughout Intuit, while clearly articulating and evangelizing the Engineering vision to Intuit Executive management and across the company.

-Proven track record building engineering organizations that are designed to create products across multiple businesses and their customer segments, including content expertise in platform software design, maintenance and services. In addition, this will include identifying key technologies, design process improvements and customize needs while seamlessly tailoring content specifically to multiple products segments.

-Leading and developing a talented team of high-performing engineers and product professionals in a rapid-growth environment.

- Delivering on rigorous, quantifiable business objectives in a highly leveraged organization, accomplishing business objectives through influence and sharing point-of-views, as well as through line authority.

Qualifications :
A seasoned career Engineering professional with a minimum of 15 years of senior Engineering leadership and Product Development in an organization that combines a highly recognized consumer and/or business-to-business brand and a reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction and retention.

-A clear track record of leading dramatic product growth across multiple channels for a company selling technology-related products directly to consumers and/or small businesses.

-A world-class engineering leader with a proven track record of success in exceptionally strong product management driven companies.

-Business success at companies known for building great and profitable relationships directly with customers.

-Strong technical expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it, along with the ability to conceptualize and teach engineering principles and practices throughout the company.

-A leader with the force of personality to succeed in a highly competitive market, keeping the team focused on breakthrough strategies and tactics while meeting ongoing business objectives.

-Track record of success working and influencing a fast-paced, multi-unit organization at all levels, being persuasive and effective even where no direct reporting relationship exists.

-An innate understanding of business processes and how to use it to provide competitive advantage that translates into building outstanding products, product recognition and superior return for customers.

-Experience leading an organization of 400+ people.
