MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Temple-Inland has an opening for an Maintenance Manager (Equipment Asset Manager) at their Lumber Operation in Buna, Texas. This position is responsible for leading the maintenance team to support safely achieving business goals for asset care and availability through the utilization of predictive, preventive and corrective approaches. The EAM will promote process excellence and precise execution by utilization of continuous process improvement (CPI) and Six Sigma principles and tools. Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing the planning and procurement of resources, meeting safety goals, developing employee training programs, and controlling budget costs in order to ensure reliability and optimum uptime of the operation.
Prefer a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment. (Wood products facility, a plus). This position requires computer proficiency and understanding of CMMS process. Successful candidates will possess strong leadership, organizational and team building skills.
