The Mammography Technologist will work closely with physicians in performing all types of studies and can follow patients from imaging to biopsy.

The Northside hospital Diagnostic Breast Center is a complete, multidisciplinary breast center with more cancers diagnosed than any other facility last year in the state of Georgia. The center’s services include diagnostic mammography, stereotactic biopsy, breast ultrasound, ultrasound core biopsy, bone density and some screening mammography. We routinely provide continuing education for technologists to gain a deeper understanding of breast problems.

Mammography Technologist Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Certified in Mammography (who will be within 1 year of hire) meeting requirements to perform mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA standards.
