The position is responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of the plant/service center. Co-ordinates with operations management the care and maintenance of all equipment to promote customer service. From an equipment and facilities standpoint, leads service center safety program including insurance requirements. Manages utilities consumption and efficient boiler operation. Effectively purchases parts, equipment, and services to support operations. Maintains the physical facilities to support operations and the company’s assets. Assures compliance with safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and plant rules. Organizes systems and processes to assure preventative maintenance. Reports to: Operations Manager Supervises: Engineers, custodians Working Relationships: Constant interaction with supervisors and managers, as well as plant associates. Frequent contact with vendors and providers of services. Contact with regulatory authorities and insurance inspectors. Work Environment: Plant environment, including hot, noisy, and wet conditions. Some work in office environments. Subject to calls during hours away from plant (24/7). Physical Demands: Constant walking throughout the service center. May do lifting of objects of up to 75 pounds on occasion. May carry tools and equipment. Constant exposure to hazards including confined spaces, chemicals, steam under pressure, climbing, working in positions above and under equipment, and throughout and outside of the facility. Job Requirements:Min AA degree – required Must have 5 – 10 years exp. in a fast paced manufacturing setting – high speed manufacturing Must have strong management skills – exp. getting projects done, meeting deadlines (very important), directing maintenance department, professional manager, etc… Must Have Plant Manufacturing experience MUST have HANDS-ON production/manufacturing equipment MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR exp – electrical/electronic (PLCs, 480V), mechanical (conveyors, boilers, steam, plumbing), controls, etc… Must have exp. with LOTO, training, etc.. Must have experience working with large machinery (environment will be with larger washers, folding machines, etc…) Must have strong leadership – ability to train mechanics, supervise, counsel, lead, etc… Laundry (commercial laundry, textiles) experience a plus MUST be open to long hours, weekend, rotating shifts, etc.. The Mammography Technologist will work closely with physicians in performing all types of studies and can follow patients from imaging to biopsy.

The Northside hospital Diagnostic Breast Center is a complete, multidisciplinary breast center with more cancers diagnosed than any other facility last year in the state of Georgia. The center’s services include diagnostic mammography, stereotactic biopsy, breast ultrasound, ultrasound core biopsy, bone density and some screening mammography. We routinely provide continuing education for technologists to gain a deeper understanding of breast problems.

Mammography Technologist Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Certified in Mammography (who will be within 1 year of hire) meeting requirements to perform mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA standards.
