Description: The Web Content Producer works with internal clients to produce and deploy written and multi-media content (e.
g., copy, graphics, video, photography) on the soon to be relaunched www.partners.org and related websites, including social media platforms.
This position requires a broad base of skills in project management, copy writing and editing as well as multi-media content production.
Hands-on skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite design and production applications are desired.
The Producer may also direct free-lance writers, photographers, illustrators and videographers.
Acting as a consultant to internal clients throughout the Partners HealthCare system, the producer will be proactive in helping departments and programs to most effectively utilize the web channel.
This includes idea generation and execution of related creative assets either independently or working with freelancers (depending on the project), but always in conjunction with clients.As a key member of a small and highly active Corporate Marketing team, the Web Content Producer will be expected to take on a variety of marketing and web related roles and tasks as needs develop and priorities change.
This is an ideal position for a highly organized and creative communications professional with strong writing and editing skills as well as experience in and a passion for working with multi-media web technologies.
Adaptability, flexibility, tenaciousness and a positive attitude combined with a strong interest in health care will be essential for success.Responsibilities1. Consult to internal clients to help generate web content ideas to support their programs and identify appropriate media types.
Research, write and edit web content, stories and/or video scripts2 Respond to client requests for content and/or creative support by providing writing and/or editing services and light design work; perform content maintenance as needed3 Assist in designing content creation and approval workflows and shepherd content through necessary approval channels.
Ensure adherence to editorial and visual style guides4 Develop and maintain the editorial/content calendar for www.partners.org 5 Develop and manage budgets for client web projects6 Hire and manage freelance creative developers where needed and budget allows.
Develop creative briefs for outsourced projects7 Support Corporate social media initiatives8.
Manage the development and execution of a range of web projects9.
Coordinate activities with Project Managers within the Marketing and IS Departments and with our interactive agency.Qualifications: 1. Five plus years hands-on experience managing a wide variety of web projects in a marketing environment.
Project work experience should be focused on content development and management.
Health care or consumer product/service experience preferred.
Large, complex company experience highly preferred2 Experienced web writer/editor with exceptional skills (writing sample/portfolio will be requested).
Strong oral skills also important, including strong presentation skills3 At least two years experience developing and editing multimedia/online content.
4. Proficient in Adobe CS3 or higher design and production applications (e.
g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro).
Knowledge of Flash highly desirable5 Experience with video production and editing highly desirable6.
Experience with Teamsite or similar CMS highly desirable7.
Proficiency in MS Office (e.
g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is a given8 Willingness to learn new applications and take on the new roles as priorities change9 Strong interpersonal skills.

BA/BS in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline required.
Masters-level degree in one of these areas desired.
