Design challenges include the high temperature, high pressure and high shock environment of an oil well.

The work involves being part of engineering project teams to develop instrumentation that detects nuclear radiation for inference of rock types, presence and quantities of oil, gas and water in subsurface rock formations.The scope of activity will include the following essential responsibilities: -Analyze, design, develop, maintain products and assist in their commercialization – in agreement with project technical and timing objectives.

Successfully undertake technical projects.

-Create and maintain product documentation (requirements, specification, design, development, integration, test procedures and results).

-Design testing procedures and coordinate with others to perform tests.

-Conduct tests and document test results.
