Job Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the inpatient or outpatient setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptoms. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments where cross trained with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities and customer service initiatives.
Job Requirements: Current state Registered Nurse Licensure. Previous clinical experience in area of specialty preferred. CPR certification. ACLS certification preferred or will obtain with in one year of hire if required by the department. PALS within 1 year of hire. CEN certified preferred. Neonatal resuscitation provider. Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking. Able to handle emergency or crisis situations. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional language skills helpful.
