The Physician Recruitment and Retention team supports the mission of Rochester General Health System physician growth and retention by marketing to, sourcing, and hiring high quality provider candidates.
The team provides outreach recruitment efforts to candidates and external resources; promotes the opportunity and Rochester community to physician candidates and refers appropriate candidates to chiefs, medical directors and physician groups.
· Develops and implements aggressive and innovative recruitment and retention strategies for employed and private practice physician positions affiliated with Rochester General and Newark Wayne Community Hospitals.
· Creates high profile, effective sourcing mediums such as ads, mailers, flyers to generate interest in the Physician opportunity.
· Provides outreach recruitment efforts to candidates and external resources; promotes the opportunity and Rochester community to physician candidates and refers appropriate candidates to chiefs, medical directors and physician groups.
· Works collaboratively with clinical leadership to create and execute a comprehensive physician recruitment plan.
· Creates policies and procedures as needed to complement the physician recruitment process.
· Change agent for effective recruitment program for primary care physicians and specialists.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Health Care Administration or related field and five years experience in recruitment, physician/advanced practitioner or Executive recruitment experience is required.
Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with physicians, medical staff and administrative members with strong consultative, customer service, presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
