PAMF provides care to patients at its clinics and medical centers throughout Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties.   To learn more about Palo Alto Medical Foundation visit our website at www.pamf.org.   This position is responsible for assisting the SurgiCenter Materials program coordinator in the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of all products utilized in the SurgiCenter.  Additional responsibilities include picking surgical cases for the next day.  Working independently and well with others is mandatory.  Awareness of just-in-time delivery system and budgetary limits.Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, strong computer, analytical, quantitative, communication and follow through skills. Ability to follow established policies and procedures, including HIPPA, safety and security. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, good team player and fast learner. Demonstrates ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner. Prior experience using computerized inventory/materials management software preferred. Experience working in healthcare environment, specifically operating room with knowledge of medical supplies a plus. Willingness to cross train within the SurgiCenter preferred.
